IMPORTANT DATES FOR BBA/BCA ADMISSIONS PROCESS

1. Distribution and submission of forms: 2/06/2010 to 5/06/2010 (11-00 am to 5-00 pm)
2. Display of combined check list :06/06/2010 (ie. Sunday) on University website (www.gujaratuniversity.org.in)
3. Reporting of discrepancies, mistakes to the University: 7/06/2010 and 8/06/2010
4. Display of final merit list : 9/06/2010

Admission forms for BBA / BCA Colleges affiliated to Gujarat University

As per the new centralized admission procedure all the students seeking admission to Gujarat University affiliated BBA or BCA course need to fill up a single form for each stream. The cost of application form is Rs. 100 and it will be available from GU.
Forms distribution date: 2nd June to 5th June.
Merit list : 6thJune.
Counseling process : 12th June.

Centralized admission for BBA, BCA 2010

First time in the history of Gujarat University, centralized admission system is introduced for BBA and BCA courses for the first year admission 2010. Through, this centralized admission system all seats in 7 BBA and 13 BCA colleges affiliated to Gujarat University will be filled up.

External B.Com in Gujarat university

Gujarat University, have started several external courses for the Professional/Businessmen, who can not join the conventional colleges or are deprived from main stream education because of some reason.

It helps to those students interested in pursuing Graduate courses like B.A/B.Com/B.B.A./B.C.A. or Post-Graduate courses like M.A/M.Com. as an external student.

Announcement for GCET-2010 Exam for MBA and MCA

Candidates who want to appear in the GCET-2010 exam have to get brochure along with confidential cover containing User ID, PASSWARD & PIN by paying in cash Rs. 1000 for either MBA or MCA (Rs. *800 for SC/ST category students).

If candidate wishes to apply for both MBA & MCA, Rs. 1500 (Rs. 1200* for SC/ST category students) at the Help Centres, between 27th May, 2010 to 8th June, 2010 during 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., on all days. Candidate can contact to Help Line No. (079) 26855444 for further information.

MBA ADMISSION: GCET 2010

Like last year, this year also GCET will be computer based test which will be conducted by GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (http://www.gtu.ac.in/). This is year test will be conducted in the two rounds and student can have choice of appearing in both the test rounds. Best of two overall scores will be considered for the admission merit.

Tests will be taken during 28th June, 2010 to 1st July,2010 & 5th July,2010 to 8th July,2010 at about 20 selected test centres in the state. Test duration will be of 80 minutes and 100 multiple choice questions with negative marking for wrong answers. Test consist questions from analytical and logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language skills and GK etc.

For those students who want to appear for MBA & MCA test, a common test of 96 minutes with 120 multiple choice questions will be conducted.
